Why do you do what you do?
I’m passionate about feline health and advancing medicine through science and research. I’m an advocate for educating owners on unique behavioral and wellness needs of cats and driving the importance of veterinary visits. At Basepaws, our goal is to improve the lives of cats by understanding, genetically, what makes each unique, an area of critical, but underfunded, research importance.
What pets do you have in your family?
5 feline children! All rescues, 2 were bottle fed. Lexi (16), Sammi (15), Ruthie (11), Chuck (9), Lulu (9)
Which superhero are you most like and why?
Supergirl all the way! Supergirl is a superhero, an idle, a hero, and a warrior. She saves people everyday without even being asked. This is me in regards to cats. Whether it be rescue work or science, health & discovery – healthy, happy and safe cats are my mission!
