Today’s VetPartners Member Spotlight shines on Tom Seeko, Business Financial Advisor at Florida Veterinary Advisors. Tom has been a VetPartners member since 2018. Read on to learn more about Tom.

How do you help the veterinary profession?

First, organization. We need to perform financial triage and make sure to prioritize decisions. Second, help them dream. What do they want? Third, work with them to make sure they have a solid plan. This includes practice culture, protecting their income and business value, and a strong exit plan to keep their lifestyle in retirement.

Why do you do what you do?

I want to change how veterinarians view financial planning. For the longest time, most have been sold products without a real plan to grow their business and wealth outside the business. My vision is to be a guide as their financial quarterback so veterinarians can continue to focus on what they do great… helping animals!

What Pets do you have in your family?

My wife and I have a little maltipoo named Theodore. He’s got quite a personality and recently he started ordering his own pupuccinos at Starbucks.
