VetPartners Member Spotlight: Gina Fortunato

Feb 12, 2021 at 2:07 pm

Today’s VetPartners Member Spotlight shines on Gina Fortunato, Vice President, Veterinary Services at Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group. Gina has been a VetPartners member since 2013. Read on to learn more about Gina.

Why do you do what you do?

Pet health insurance has been shown to help increase practice revenue. But more importantly, veterinarians can worry less about discussing cost of care, and spend more time discussing actual treatment plans with insured pet owners. Because of this, my team and I are dedicated to educating veterinary staff and their clients on the benefits of pet health insurance.

Why do you do what you do?

With 3 horses, 3 in-door cats and 2 barn cats, I have experienced first-hand the value of pet health insurance. Because of my love of animals, I left the pharmaceutical industry to help pet parents afford their pet’s veterinary care. Our pets give us so much love, so why not make sure we can keep them healthy and happy!

What is you all-time favorite band or musician?

I’m a huge KISS fan! I have this in common with my brother and sister. I love their energy and creativity. Their concerts never get old. As long as they are touring, I’ll keep attending. Gene Simmons – like him or hate him – is a great marketer (read his book “Kiss and Make-Up”)

How can people learn more about you and the work you do?
