How do you help veterinary professionals?
My company specializes in writing and editing stand-out copy for veterinary professionals, including individual practices, corporate groups, and animal health organizations. We know how to effectively reach pet owners and veterinary professionals, and our work includes editorial copy, blog posts, social media content, marketing and advertising copy, and more.
How did you first get started in the business?
I had just graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication and completed an internship at a Denver magazine when I began looking for writing jobs. The first job I applied for was with the American Animal Hospital Association as a marketing copywriter. I got the job, and worked there for more than 4 years.
What pets do you have in your family?
Karl with a K — Our mix-breed rescue dog who pulls on the leash.
Winnie the doo — Our Aussiedoodle rescue who follows me like my shadow.
Leo the canine kitty — Our cat who thinks he’s a dog.
Fun fact: All our pets were born in 2016.
What’s your all-time favorite band or musician and why?
The Beatles! My parents listened to them while I was growing up, and I became obsessed with them when I was about 14 years old. My dad took me to see Ringo Starr and his All-Star Band for my 16th birthday, and Ringo sang, “Sweet 16.”
