VetPartners Member Spotlight – Mia Cary

Sep 30, 2020 at 1:39 pm

Today’s VetPartners Member Spotlight shines on Mia Cary, CEO and Change Agent of Cary Consulting. Mia has been a VetPartners member since 2017. Read on to learn more about Mia.

Why do you do what you do?

My personal and professional purpose is activating others to thrive. My focal content areas are core skills beyond clinical medicine. Helping individuals, communities, and organizations grow, become comfortable being uncomfortable, and stretch farther than they thought possible – that’s my jam.

How did you first get started in the industry?

I started in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician and then as a small animal clinical veterinarian. During the industry phase of my career I worked at Novartis Animal Health and BI in a variety of roles including sales, technical support, marketing, education, and exec leadership. I also had the pleasure of working at the AVMA and NAVC.

What pets do you have in your family?

Our current pet situation includes Lucy, the sweetest dog in the whole wide world, and brother cats Louie and Leo.

How can people learn more about you and your work?

I can be reached at [email protected]. I enjoy engaging via social media and can be found on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram (@zenvet23), and Facebook (Cary Consulting). If you’d like to connect I’d love to hear from you!

What is your walk-in song?

I have several. Currently I alternate between “I Dare You”, “Let My Love Open the Door”, and “Good as Hell”.
