One of the greatest fears of any professional is that of being sued; and unfortunately it happens all too often. What are you most likely to get sued for as a veterinarian? Is there anything you can do to reduce the risk of a lawsuit? This presentation will explore the hows and whys of lawsuits veterinarians are likely to experience; as well as what you can do to help protect yourself from getting sued in the first place.

Audience Profile / Who Should Attend?:
Vetrerinarians, Veterinary Staff, Veterinary Consultants

Benefits of Attending:
Develop an understanding of the potential litigation pitfalls faced by veterinarians and techniques for helping reduce the risk of such lawsuits.

Resources and Tools for Attendees:
Presentation describes techniques for improving routine practices to reduce litigation risk. Such practices are individualistic in nature and do not lend themselves to pre-made take-home tools.
